Find the opener that fits your home
There's no single best opener — it depends on your garage, your household, and how you use the door. Below are the five we install most often around White Rock and South Surrey, with who each one suits best. Not sure? Just call and describe your setup.
Most popular
LiftMaster Belt-Drive
Our top pick for most homes — a rubber belt runs the door with almost no noise or vibration. Smooth, reliable, and easy for everyone in the house to use.
Best for: attached garages, condos, and anyone who hates a noisy door
A commercial-grade operator built for the constant daily traffic of condo and strata parkade gates and large overhead doors. Tough, reliable, low-maintenance.
Best for: condo parkade gates and high-traffic commercial doors

A note on power outages
Battery backup keeps you moving
Storms roll through the bay now and then, and a power cut shouldn't mean you're trapped in or out of your garage. A battery-backup opener carries on working for a number of cycles even with the power down — no climbing over the hood to pull a manual release.
It's a particular relief for our many senior neighbours, and battery backup is now required on new opener installations in BC, so it's standard on much of what we fit.

Let's get the right opener on your door
Supply, install, programming and old-unit haul-away — all handled by your friendly local crew.
Which garage door opener is quietest for a condo or attached garage?
A belt-drive opener is the quietest option, which is why we recommend it for attached garages and condos where someone lives or sleeps above or beside the garage. The rubber belt runs smoothly with very little vibration compared to a chain. The LiftMaster belt-drive is our most popular choice for exactly this reason.
What does a smart Wi-Fi opener with myQ actually do?
A smart Wi-Fi opener lets you open, close, and check your garage door from your phone, and sends an alert if the door is left open. It's great peace of mind — handy if you're already down at the pier and can't remember whether you closed the door. We set it up and show you how to use it.
Why would I want a battery-backup opener?
A battery-backup opener keeps working during a power outage, so you're never stuck unable to get your car out — or back in. It's especially popular with our senior customers who don't want to wrestle a heavy door by hand. In BC, battery backup is also required on new opener installations.
Can you supply a heavy-duty opener for a strata parkade gate?
Yes. We fit heavy-duty commercial operators built for the high traffic of condo and strata parkade gates and large overhead doors. They're designed for frequent daily use and reliability. See our strata, condo and commercial page for more on how we work with property managers.
Do you install the opener you sell me?
Yes — we supply and professionally install every opener, set the travel and force, fit the safety sensors, program your remotes and keypad, and test everything before we leave. We'll also haul away your old unit if you're replacing one.
Ready when you are
